Ultimate Blog Party 2010

Welcome, party goers!  Glad you stopped by.

Meet my family:

I'm Michelle. I love to read and watch reality TV and I just recently started DVRing Ellen because she cracks me up!  I love Jesus and cloth diapers and baby wearing. I homebirth and homeschool and home stay, I mean stay at home.  (Work with me people.)  I'm also in the very beginning of a Biggest Loser contest on my blog...and I'm SO going to win.  Feel free to join us!

Here I am with our newest bundle, Jerusha:

Next is my handsome husband, hilarious Jeff.  (Wouldn't it have been awesome if his name started with an H.)  Nope, that's not a wad of dip.  It's sunflowers seeds, the bane of my existence. Oh how I hate unnecessary sounds.  You know, like dripping water, throat clearing, sniffling, ice chewing.  NO ICE CHEWING at my party.  All the ice is banished.

Here you will not see my beautiful daughter Ashlea.  She is 18 and having our first grand baby.  We are thrilled and excited.  She has forbidden me to show her face.  But trust me, she's beautiful.

And next we have Kori.  She's 12 and my biggest helper. She babysits for us but always waits until we get home to worry about poopy diapers. She must have learned that little tip from Ashlea.  She's really smart and enjoys school, reading and crafts.

Now on to Kati, who is ten. Kati is our rascal.  If you want to know what stress is, visit for a day. You'll understand.  Fortunately for her, she's cute.  And funny.  And occasionally even sweet. So I guess we'll keep her.  Her biggest help to me these days is calming Jerusha.  She is magic.

Here is little Mill, who is four.  What a ham she is. She is constantly kidding around about everything.  If you ask her what color she is wearing, she'll tell you the opposite.  If you ask her to add two things, she'll add four. You gotta stay a step ahead of her or you might get tricked by her. She means no harm though.  She just really wants to make you laugh.  She's learning to read. I'm proud. She's, of course, a genius.

Now on to Asa, our only male child, who is two.  OH, what fun to have a boy.  He eats anything, except table food; dirt, chalk, crayons, rocks.  He will climb anything, swing on anything, play with anything. He is very serious and always takes care of everyone by opening doors, taking out trashes and making sure everyone is in the car.

Lastly, our little Jerusha.  She is smiling all the time and laughing at us. (Of course, she loves me the best.)  She keeps trying to sit forward and roll over.  While this may seem normal for most of you, we have children who don't crawl until they are nine months old.  So yea, genius.  We grow 'em smart.

So that's us.  Hope you have read this far.  Can't wait to meet you.  If  you leave a comment I will mosey on over to your blog and get to know you a little better too.

Here are some of my favorite blog posts, if you have some free time:

I'm all about birth so you can read Jerusha's birth story (Asa's and Mill's can be read too) or a tutorial on trying to conceive.

My favorite blogging day is Thursday when I do Writer's Workshop.  You can read a funny one about super powers.  (Funny to me...and isn't that all that counts.)

And if  you are still here and reading how about a Survivor synopsis about Ketchup sandwiches.  (And for the record I called Russell before the season even aired.)

On to the prizes:

INTL 2 - Wordpress blog (OH PLEASE, OH PLEASE)
INT 3 - Blog redesign (Notice a theme?)
USC - 16 Graphic Design (I want this more than anything....my blog needs a new look.)

So yea, ANY blog redesign is what I want.  Apart from that one of these will work:

14 - bumper stickers
1 - $150 gc to pedal cars
69 - curriculum
72 - Wii game
USC - 61 Sleepy Wrap

And in the absence of those, I'm easy....a gc, a child's gift, or just about anything.

Nice to meet you! I am a fellow Jesus loving, cloth diapering, baby wearing mom! I haven't decided about homeschooling yet. My daughter is 2 years old and I am not going to put her in preschool at least :)

I recently switched from blogger to WP and loved it! I wish you the best of luck winning that prize!

What a beautiful family you have! I miss it since my youngest (15 months) was such a chunk and my back is weak I had to give it up prematurely. Bummer. :( These days she is so busy though I highly doubt she'd even go for it! LOL

Hope you have a great time at the party this week and meet lots of great bloggers and friends! Stop by and say hi when you get the chance.

Hey Michelle. I just came by from the blog party even though its over. =( But I love your blog. And I love the biggest loser and I would totally love to join the contest you have. I'm not very good at motivating myself though. I watch the show every week and wish I could just get in a routine like they do. I'm really bad at time management as well.

Anywho...I've already subscribed in my reader and hope if you get a chance to please drop by my blogs..and subscribe too if you want. I love meeting new people!
