Eco-Friendly Baby Products Eco Mom Review and Giveaway

CLOSED.  Winner is Jenna.

Eco Mom, previously Sprout Baby, contacted me to review their products and offer a giveaway. I JUMPED at the chance.  Can I enter my own giveaway or is that unethical?

They sent me a great variety of products to try out like the Mashups Squeezable Fruit

Revolution Foods Organic Mashups Squeezable Fruit, Berry, 3.17-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 24)

and Jammy Sammy sandwich bars.

Revolution Foods Organic Jammy Sammy Snack Size Sandwich Bar, Apple Cinnamon & Oatmeal, 5-Count Boxes (Pack of 5)

So here are my thoughts.

I liked that it was all organic.  It was also tasty and convenient.  At the same time it was messy.  My smaller children make a mess with just about anything.  That's all three of the younger kids who are eating.  YES, that includes Kati.  When we go to Braum's she has to get a cup or ice cream is everywhere.  I know you can't relate.

The squeezable fruit has a potential to be messy.  It comes out with the slightest squeeze.  As long as they keep it to their mouth that is where it goes.  But really.  Who keeps it to their mouth.  I still love the idea.  It's a fun way to eat fruit.  It's great for picnics.

At first when I got the squeezable fruit out, there wasn't a child who would try it.  NOT ONE.  Which is weird because I thought they would all love it.  Once they tried it (although Millicent wouldn't even try it) they liked the flavor.

The sandwich bars were delicious and messy.  Yes, messy.  Somehow Asa managed to make a mess with them.  They are a little crumbly but not bad. They broke apart pretty easily which is where the mess came in.  The good thing is that since they aren't crumbly the pieces pick right up. PERFECT for a toddler.

They also sent baby food.  I don't have a baby who is eating yet.

My nephew and Jerusha

All in all it's a product I would regularly purchase.  I would get the fruit for all the kids and the bars for the little ones.  It's a perfect sized snack for a toddler.  But it's too small for older kids.

Some company information:

They have an Eco Pass which allows you to buy a membership and receive a 15% discount and free shipping.

Whoa baby Asa looks so big! How did that happen so fast? I like to feed my kids raw foods. Well, raw fruits and veggies. We don't do raw meat. But we do like our steaks pretty rare. We got our free Kraft pack yesterday. The kids devoured the Sundried Tomato and Basil Wheat Thins. I know my kids would love these. I probably shouldn't have been the first comment though, the first one never wins.

I need this! I feed my kids healthy fruits & veggies & meat & milk & juice & snacks.
But they dont have that stuff in Guatemala so I need to bring my own food to insure the childrens survival in a 3rd world country for almost 2 weeks. I MUST win.

I am always looking for more organic/healthy snacks for my toddler, especially "on-the-go" kinds of snacks.

Cheese, yogurt, and bananas are staples here but we are working on "scheduling" a certain snack so that we can start to get a better variety.

Sounds good! They should add veggies to the fruit, a more balanced diet for picky eaters.

I usually feed my daughter anything that I am eating, which is usually healthy! She loves avocados, bananas, apples, potatoes, lentils, and whole grain crackers. We eat organic whenever possible!

My son loves Ella's Kitchen organic fruit smoothies and purees! When in the car I always keep Baby mum-mum rice rusks for my son to eat because they are not messy and he loves the veggie flavor!
