And the party is over

Well party people, the party is over.  I really had fun meeting new bloggers and goofing off when I should have been working.  Now to wait to see if I won a blog makeover.  Maybe some poor soul will have pity on me and give me one anyway.  (Sad, pathetic face.)

We have a winner from Wednesday.

You guys aren't going to believe this.  Amber from Mom's Place hula hooped a total of 4:38:52.  (What happened to those eight seconds?)

Isn't that crazy?  I'm not exaggerating when I say my total was two minutes.  I could NOT keep the stupid thing up.  But it was truly fun to get out there and do that.  And the kids just thought I was playing with them...I'm sneaky that way.

Be sure and fan Blessed Quiver on facebook.  We are doing daily exercise challenges and offering each other tips and encouragement to keep us going.

Next week I'll get back to regularly scheduled postings.  I'll do the weigh in on Monday so be sure to get your weights into my Sunday evening or early Monday morning.  From now on I'll only do one Biggest Loser post.  So be sure to visit my fan page for the daily challenges.

And Amber.  Get your address to me.

I also want to thank Kelly for donating the prize for this weeks challenge.  THANK YOU.

Michelle,
I couldn't do the hula hoop...only had the small one and couldn't fit in it very well!!!! But this totally inspired my family to get creative and get active. Last night, we went to the park and had a picnic of grilled chicken and pasta salad rather than fried chix and potatoe salad! We swung for like 30 minutes. did you know that swinging is like doing cruntches?!!!! anyways, but behind and my tummy got a great work out and we had so much fun. I don't remember when we all laughed together so much! Then we walked the trail for about a half mile. It was so much fun. My family is really getting behind me and getting me motivated to "get healthy" I am so glad I decided to sign up!

Stopped by your blog at the end of the party. I am new to blogging and learning. Your title caught my eye and then when I went through your blog I had to laugh about your comment that you had birth at home on purpose...three of my six were born at home, on purpose, the first home birth turns 19 this week.
You have a precious family...nice to have meet you,
Janette
