Writer's workshop-Paranoia will destroya

The Prompts:

1.) Tell us about a "dirt cheap" you've taken this summer. UM??? What does that mean?? I'll tell you about some dirt that Asa has eaten. Asa loves to eat dirt. At Jeff's aunt over the 4th of July he was literally running his finger over the dirt and putting it in his mouth like it was cake batter. A little while later he threw up on Hannah.

2.) When I grow up I want to be like...There are a lot of amazing women in my life who I admire. My Aunt Theresa, who lives in Texas is so sweet and kind and patient. I always think of her when I think of what kind of mom I want to be.

3.) Describe a difficult moment that you survived. Most of my life has been difficult...and I've survived it all. It's only in the last 10 or so years that life has gotten easy and fun and happy. Poor pitiful me, huh? No, not really. A lot of it was self made misery. But life is BETTER now, so don't cry for me Argentina. (Great, with celebrities dropping like flies, I probably just signed Madonna's death warrant.)

4.) List 5 things you like to do while camping...or 5 places you'd like to go. I like to sleep (in a bed), swim (in a pool), eat (at a restaurant), feel the cold air (from an air conditioner), and bathe (in a warm jacuzzi tub). Guess I'm not really a camping type of girl.

5.) What are you paranoid about?

-----------------------------------------------------------

I am paranoid about strange men, sitting in their cars, watching my kids play at the park. I mean, what are they doing in there? SHUDDER!

I am paranoid about wasps in my room when I am trying to sleep. (We get lots during the summer.) I can hear them on the window with their inane buzzing. I can hear them and it keeps me awake. But I get paranoid about them coming out of the windows and stinging me in my sleep. Because you know that's what wasps do. They wait until you are asleep and torment you. I'm not the only one, Millicent is paranoid too and tells me to kill them. Which brings me to my next point.

I am paranoid about killing bugs. They are so squishy and gross and what if they don't really die and just get more mad. I'll leave the bug killing to the men.

That's it, really. I'm actually quite stable. Not like my friend Holly who is paranoid about, like, six things.

What about you? What are you paranoid about? Don't let me be the only one bearing my secrets. And hey, don't forget about my giveaway. Be on the lookout for two more over the next two weeks. Exciting stuff!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm with you on the hornet thing, I detest them! I used to be scared to kill them, but now that they've stung my babies, I will attack with vengeance!

I am paranoid about any flying bug that has a stinger... I *shudder* to don't want to think about it. I am paranoid that something is wrong with my pregnancy... I am paranoid that my glucose levels will be high the next time I have to test...

Many many things...

Sometimes when I am driving down the road I will start wondering if I have just been in a major car accident and received so much major brain trauma that I only think I am still happily driving down the road....but really the paramedics are trying to bring me back to life and my brain is only in some sort of survival mode that makes me think everything is "okay".

After I reach up and feel that there is no major head trauma and that my head and face feel normal to the touch my paranoia is relieved.
