Last day of St. Patrick's Day fun

Yesterday was so fun, I decided to make more activities like that for today's assignment. I was bummed that we didn't get to do the Jello cups because I didn't have any food coloring. I had forgotten that I had gotten rid of all the artificial dyes in our house when we realized Kati had an allergy to red. So now I need some natural dyes. Anyone know where to buy some???

Today, the first assignment will be to come up with a quiz, from the Bible, to stump Jeff. He can only get 2 out of 5 right for them to pass. If he gets more than that right, they have to come up with a new quiz.

Stage two, Jeff will tell them to make up a skit for me.

Stage three, they have to memorize a verse, every other word. The other sister will memorize every other word. When recited to me, each girl will say one word, back and forth. Doesn't that sound fun?

Our craft will be a bookmark. Can't do a whole lot today because Asa and Millicent are sick. Anyone else ready for Spring?

Don't forget to join me next week for Spring Break and all our fun activities and for the Ultimate Blog Party. (The link is in my sidebar.)

As an aside...you may notice some advertisements (Vision Forum, Amazon, Google) in my sidebars. Every time you make a purchase through one of my links, I make a percentage. Though it is small, I would really appreciate anything you throw my way. I always look for a blogger to click through whenever I buy from Amazon or VF. The google ads work differently. Just click on them and I make a penny or so...but it can add up. Buy something, or sign up for something, through one of those clicks and it really adds up. So thanks for supporting me.

I'm sorry i didn't mean the Bible verse I meant the challenge. I love the verse and I interpreted the verse the same way you did. I'm sorry I was unclear!!

I love the ideas in this post!!! I didn't do much for st paddy's day this year (we don't have any kids living with us) but I thought maybe next year I would do it just for us :)

Hey there! I've been here before, but I just found you again through SITS.

Good luck on the ads. I hope you'll let us know on down the road how that goes. I've considered doing the same thing, just not sure on how well it works.

Have a great Friday!

Hey Michelle! I am so glad you were able to take advantage of the ipod video thing!! I wanted to get one for my son for Christmas but my husband doesn't think he needs one :-(
BTW, I wasn't an affiliate for that one - just wanted to pass that good deal on! LOL

Jello cups? Mmmm...

Natural dye: boil some blueberries in a bit of water, mash them with a potato masher while they're cooking to let all the juice out. Do the same with cherries or strawberries, or spinach. Bonus: you can use the leftover juice to mix in with other stuff for added nutrition (like over pancakes; in milk or milkshakes or smoothies; or you can even use the boiling colored water instead of plain water for making the jello!) Just make sure to push the pulp through a strainer so there aren't any chunks - especially of spinach.
