Whatchoo lookin' at?

I would have put a new picture up of our family; one I just took the other day of all of us. Instead of this one from last summer taken at 6 Flags, before Jerusha was born and without Ashlea.  BUT Blogger changed our post settings.  For the better, one would assume.  But you CANNOT upload a picture.  It just won't go.  So you can either post a picture from what you've used in the past or go to Picasa and upload to there and then to here.  WHEW!  Who has the time for that?  So there you go...an old family picture.  Maybe the kinks will be out by tomorrow.

Sometimes when we go places, we get stares.

Do any of you?

I never quite know if they are staring because I'm gorgeous and they think I'm a movie star or model or something.

Or if they are looking at my fabulous baby carriers like the Ergo (which I don't have a picture of because Blogger won't let me upload one), or the Sleepy Baby Wrap (which looks like a T-shirt when worn, but can't be uploaded to blogger) or the Maya sling (which I've posted before and can therefore share again).

I know they want to know where I got it and how much it cost and if I love it and whether they should get one and if it makes everything easier for me.  I got it online. It didn't cost much.  And yes.

OR are they staring because I have five little ducklings (and sometimes Ashlea) in a row.

They want to know if they are all mine, if I'm a better woman than they are, if they are always so well behaved, will we will be having more and if we have a TV.  The answer is yes and we obviously have funner things to do than watch TV.

So now you know.

STOP STARING.

I have the Maya ring sling that I'm looking forward to using very soon!

Let em' stare...I'm sure they're just jealous of that beautiful family you have!

I have a Maya sling and just got my Ergo. I love using it on the hip! I do get stares, too, even in "cool and trendy" Austin. But I've also gotten compliments.

Love your new blog look!

I could upload a few photo's... at first I couldn't find where..but if you're looking at all your previously posted photo's... on the very top left hand side, there should be an upload image option...

Unfortunately, I could only upload about 5 photo's or so... can't upload anymore... not sure if the server is just too busy or what!?

Hopefully they'll sort it out, or change it, or something!!

People probably stare because they're amazed at your beautiful family and jealous that they aren't brave enough for so many kids! :) Just smile and wave!

You guys are different than the rest of the world! You try hard to be your own people!!! Of course people are going to stare. That is what society does when they see something different. It is human nature. Ask a child who sees someone with one arm...they stare unless they make a specific effort not too!!!! So, embrace it. This is not a bad thing! I mean, I would stare!!!! To see a mom with so many kids and still be smiling...ya, i would stare just to know what the secret is!!!!!

:)

Ummm..... LOVING the new look here!!

I don't stare... because I know you and I know your children and it's rude to stare at church. If I see you in Wal-Mart... I might stare just for fun and point and whisper. Just kidding. People stare out of ignorance or interest... there is no telling what is going through their minds. Next time someone stares... stick your finger in your nose. Give 'em something to look at! ;)
I know you are screaming "Kara! That is gross!!!!" but hey... keep things interesting.

I'm a triplet, and 18 months after we were born my mom had twins, and 18 months after the twins my mom had another baby. Six of us under the age of 4...

We got stared at ALL THE TIME! And people would count us, and shake their heads and ask if we were all from one family.

Fun times...

I reverted my settings to the old editor. Apparently, we are supposed to be able to upload, but can not due to glitches in the new software they launched this morning. You would think one would test it out before launching it! HA!

Bon's right thats how I uploaded mine as well.

I absolutely love those baby slings. I got 2 really cute ones (one had a Kings Crown bejeweled on it) for my baby shower, but I could not figure out how to use the darn things!! I mean seriously I practiced and practiced... I finally gave up.

I get the weird stares to. I just stare back, really hard.. that works well!

I hate that blogger change the upload picture setting too!!!!! Grrrr!

I do not only get the stare but the comment, when people see my belly and that we have 2 very young toddler well, you could imagine what people say!

* Poor girl
* you HAVE you hands full
* Hope it's you last one
* I guess it's better to do it all at once!

Or even better they look at my husband and have that weird think on their face like saying " I know what you have been up too" type of deal!

And you don't want to know what people who actually KNOWS us would dare to say!
Strangers can be noisy and weird but people we know are some times just plain RUDE!!!

I didn't know there was a change because I've been writing all of my posts from Windows Live, which btw is awesome. Just so you know. I could also be because I'm a slacker blogger and haven't posted any pics lately.

I get stared at but I assume it is because I have two adorable kids under two with me.

LOL, Michelle - I've read your complaints about your kids, and know they're not *always* so well-behaved! Nice try! :D
