Interview with: Me. Again. I know I'm lame

Today's interview is with me...because, well, because I'm lame. I had an awesome interview lined up with a couple of ladies. But I dropped the ball and you get me instead. Oh well. It IS my blog after all. Right? You come here to read about me? Right?

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Twenty Questions--stolen from Lori's family

1. What is your favorite thing to snack on while you are blogging?

I am usually eating cereal when I'm on the computer in the morning. I also really like Cheez-It's.

2. What is one thing you wouldn't want to live without?

I know I should say the Bible or my family. But that's too obvious, so I'm not going to. I think everyone knows that already.

SO, I wouldn't want to live without the internet. I can say this, and KNOW it's true, because I was going NUTS without it. I had no idea what celebrity died or had an affair or got divorced. Okay, so I never know that stuff. But had I WANTED to know, I couldn't find out.

3. Beach, Mountains, or Farm? Where would you live?

A farm, on a mountain, by a beach? If I have to pick one, I'm picking the farm. Did you hear that Jeff?

4. What is your least favorite household chore?

The household chores.

Did you want something specific? Okay. Laundry (all five bazillion loads I do a week), washing dishes, cleaning the bathrooms, making beds, changing diapers, picking up the floors, sweeping, mopping. See, told you.

5. Who do people say you remind them of?

Meg Ryan. Yea, right.

People often say I remind them of my daughter. I know...it doesn't make sense.

6. Parties and socializing or staying home with the family?

Both. I love to have parties at my house...love, love, love. I invite people over at least twice a year, but usually more. We have a Fall party, we have a talent show, we have people over just for fun. But I love going to parties too. Because then I don't have to cook or clean my house. See above.

7. What's your all time favorite movie?

Hard choice. The Kid. Or Remember the Titans.

8. Do you sleep in your makeup or remove it every night?

On the rare occasion I have make up on (as rare as a thousand dollar bill) I sleep with it on. But lest you think I'm lazy (see above) I wear natural make up which doesn't clog up your pores and pretty much comes off on it's own...including the mascara. So stop talking about me.

9. Do you have a hidden talent or a deep desire to learn something that you've never had a chance to learn?

Does giving birth in my bedroom, without pain meds, count as a hidden talent? Cause if it does, then I do.

10. What's one strange thing you are really good at?

Oh boy. You are learning a lot about me today. I don't like doing chores, I'm the crazy homebirth lady, and now you know I'm not good at anything.

11. What first attracted you to your spouse?

God moving in my heart. (And Jeff's sweet spirit and how handsome and tall and thin he was.)

12. What is something you love to smell?

Coffee....and skunk....and gasoline. And if you ask me, the mostly smell the same. I also like normal things like bread baking and babies after their baths, washed in Burt's Bees baby shampoo.

13. Tell something about you that you know irritates people?

I DO NOT irritate people. I mean that. I know it's hard to believe, but I DO NOT. THAT is because I spend 3/4 of my time, with other people, being irritated. (My home is my safe place.) BUT I will be more than happy to tell you all the things you do that irritate me, so you can stop doing it.

Let's see: Chewing ice (I feel like running from the room, whilst pulling my hair from my head and screaming. Please stop.)
Smacking
getting in my personal space when talking to me
touching me (okay this one is mostly about my pregnant belly...DON'T touch people, or I'm going to touch your stomach)
Sniffling, coughing and throat clearing.

I know there is more...so just stop.

14. When you have extra money, what's the first thing you do with it?

I spend it, of course.

I guess you want to know on what? I buy stuff for the kids. Occasionally I'll buy scrapbooking stuff. If you saw my scrapbooking desk, occasionally wouldn't be the word you'd use to describe it. But trust me anyway.

15. Are you a silent laugher or loud laugher?

Both. Jeff makes me CRACK up loud all the time. I will have tears running down my face. (The tears since he's been gone have been because I miss him. Just had to throw that out there so you'd feel sorry for me.) But most of the time I'm more reserved.

16. Where is your favorite place to shop?

Amazon. And Target.

17. Whats one thing you would do more often if you had more time?

Scrapbook.

18. Are you a big spender or frugal?

Both. That's a big fat lie. Ninety-five percent of the time I am SUPER, DUPER frugal. I prefer to on buy sales and clearance. I shop all year round for holidays and birthdays to get the best deals. Occasionally I will spend a little more on a nice pair of shoes or maternity pants. But it's because my husband makes me.

19. Who is your favorite character of all time?

UM???? Don't have one? I don't know. You tell me. Who is your favorite character? I like Rupert from Survivor...but he's real.

20. Would you want to be famous?

YES! Only my whole entire life. I used to want to be an actress...and I'm good, people. I would critique every movie I watched and claimed I could do better. I would dream of a white convertible and humongo house.

So yea, if Hollywood discovers me (because I know they are always on the look out for a really short 35 year old, overweight, mother of six) I'm there. I'm walking that red carpet.

Your turn! Don't forget to let me know you've done it so I can visit and read.

This was a fun get to know you post. And what is wrong with strangers wanting to touch you? Pregnant or otherwise. People just say no! Don't do that, it's rude!

And if I keep backing up when you're talking to me, IT. MEANS. YOU. ARE. TOO. CLOSE!!!
