Do you sleep in your bra?

I do. I have for well over four years now. Am I alone in this?

It all started when I was pregnant with Millicent. My breasts were so tender that breathing hurt them. I used to look forward to taking my bra off every night. I mean, underwires are NOT comfortable.

You know how it goes. You take it off, and scratch and rub your back and sigh a huge sigh of relief to be free. You wonder what kind of MAN invented this horrible bra.

But taking it off made me hurt worse than having it on. And having it on HURT.

So I decided it was the right time to buy a nursing bra. Did you know you don't have a lot of maternity choices? It's a nursing bra or a regular bra.

The nursing bras were pretty much free from--UNDERWIRE. I had never worn a bra without underwire. Was I going to be droopy everywhere?

Once I had it on...I didn't care if I was droopy everywhere. It was so comfortable. Then I KNEW that it was some man trying to torture his dear, sweet wife who invented the underwire bra.

I've never gone back. (And I wasn't droopy...much.)

I started then, sleeping in the soft, comfortable nursing bra, just to relieve the tenderness of free falling breasts. Ladies, you KNOW what I mean. I can't say because my husband reads my blog and it will give away some of my feminine mystique. BUT YOU KNOW what I mean.

Now I've been wearing this bra for about four years, every day and night. Well not exactly THIS bra, but bras like it. I have several.

How about you? Do you sleep in your bra?

Heck no...that things comes off as soon as humanly possible! Sometimes if I'm having a really lazy Saturday, it never goes on!

I can't sleep comfortably in mine (and I wear something very similar... NO under wires here but a firm lining underneath nursing bra) but I cannot STAND to go braless during the day. I am just far to sensitive there to have my shirt rubbing against me all day. So though I dont wear one at night I am no bra burner either...LOL

My boobies are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sore when preggo too!!! But I couldn't sleep in my bra, that's worse. I once heard something too about breast cancer chances going up too the more you wear your bra (???). Who knows! Cuz I also heard the same thing about eating french fries too, haha!

I could repeat the first half of this post, the all night bra wearing started with the first nursing baby.. I did get some comfy wireless back then to change into before bedtime. This time all wire... I am used to it now it never comes off... well maybe to shower... HA HA HA
I should get some comfy ones to change into, and i'm sure when baby #2 comes I will but now i'm just being lazy.

No never.

That is one of the only upsides to being small chested.

That and being able to wear tank tops with no bra at all.

I dont even wear a bra every day... like today, I just didnt feel like putting one on. And I'm not droopy ; )
I am wearing two shirts though, so its not like if I went anywhere anyone could tell. But to be honest, if I leave the house, I'll probably throw one on.

I have to say I would never have thought of sleeping with my bra on, but then I don't own any really comfortable ones either.

I do when I'm nursing. I know some don't, but if I don't then I wake up to a wet bed. Then when I'm not nursing it just depends on if I think about it when I'm changing for bed. Course if I forget DH usually asks why I left it on....

I have to keep the girls contained!...all started when I was nursing and I haven't nursed in over ten years!
Now I wear a spanx bra to bed. I spent an obscene amount of money on a bra that doesn't fit well so I wear it to bed.
On a side note I do not recommend the spanx bra without the underwire.

i have not even nursed yet (no kiddos yet), and i wear one to bed most nights. I like no underwire soft sports bra types, mainly bc i can wake up and get a few things done before hitting the shower without feeling like im undressed. it's weird but true.

I've off and on slept in a sports bra since high school (big chested), but since having babies I almost always wear a sports bra to bed. I sometimes even get too lazy to change out of my reg. underwire ones! During pregnancies I was tender, too (esp. w/ my son's) but I'm just more comfortable wearing a sports bra to sleep in. When preg/nursing I wear one of those criss-cross sleeping/nursing bras (I don't know what they're called!). Definite sagging, but if I didn't wear something, I woke up to a wet bed.
