Works for Me Wednesday...Kori style

My mom gets me a craft kit called Creative Girls Club.

I really like it. She and Dad got it for my 9th birthday, no my 10th birthday.

Mom, "Your 11th birthday."

Kori...I can't remember. Yea, my 11th birthday.

It comes with instructions on how to do the craft. But usually I don't follow the instructions exactly.

Such as:

I got a kit that made jewelry. It said to tape down the string. But that didn't work for me, so I didn't tape it down.

On my birdhouse it said to use tacks or push pins to hold the trim in place while the glue dried. I used tape instead.

Michelle here: The shipments come about every 6 weeks, but I have sent one or two back so that we space them out about every other month, making that about 6 a year.

She LOVES getting them in the mail. They come with (almost) everything you need to make two crafts. And she can make them all on her own. The day the kit arrives we don't see her for a few hours while she works on it. Within a day or two, after working every spare minute, she has a completed craft. Usually she saves it for a gift, but there have been several she has kept.

As Kori said, she has made a birdhouse, some jewelry, a bulletin board, mini clipboards, letter blocks, and various other things.
