Advent is here!!! It's finally here!!!

We started Advent yesterday. Did you remember too?

Our morning devotional is from Christ in Christmas: A Family Advent Celebration. It includes one song for the week, that we sing on Sunday together.

Our evening devotional comes from Celebrate Jesus! at Christmas: Family Devotions for Advent Through Epiphany. It includes songs for each day and an activity. I haven't gotten the supplies for the activity yet, but my goal is to purchase them at the After Christmas sales this year.

Then we read from Jotham's Journey: A Storybook for Advent. It is a cliffhanger every night. So exciting.

Millicent got to open our first book last night and she was super excited to open a present. She woke up this morning asking if she could open a present.

If you haven't yet prepared for Advent, it's not too late. Your family will love these celebrations. They will remember them for years to come. I encourage you to get some books, wrap some up, and start your box.
