Don't forget next Sunday is the start of Advent. We read from two Advent books, one in the morning and one in the evening. We also read from Jotham's Journey, a trilogy of books which are very exciting. If anyone has one of the other books in the trilogy I will happily trade you for this Christmas.
Over the next couple days I will be relaying what we do to prepare for Advent.
Tomorrow, as time allows, I will be getting our Advent box ready. Each day of Advent will have a particular activity.
Each day, one child will light the Advent candle, another will draw a card with the activity and in the evening another will unwrap a present (consisting of a Christmas book or movie).
We will have our Advent wreath, with five candles, out and ready to go on Sunday of next week. I will also be wrapping books and movies. I'll talk more about that on Monday.
